With Final Mate for Mac software, users are able to merge multiple. MTS/TOD/MOD videos together into one on Mac, edit/split/cut MTS/MOD/TOD videos in the timeline frame by frame, export lossless MKV movie for watching on WD TV player or similar devices, and convert AVCHD MTS/M2TS to Apple ProRes 422 format or Apple Intermediate Codec for professional editing in Final Cut Pro(FCP), FCE and iMovie on Mac OS X. Furthermore, the latest version of Final Mate for Mac provides 5.1channel audio for Apple ProRes 422 output. Final Mate for Mac is not only a AVCHD and Full HD MTS camcorder companion, but also a great MTS to Mac converter which makes MTS files more compatible with programs on Mac OS X Leopard/Snow Leopard/Lion. It allows you to convert/transcode MTS videos for smoothly burning in iDVD, or convert 1080 50/60p MTS videos to ProRes 422, ProRes 422 (HQ), ProRes 422 (LT), ProRes 422 (Proxy) and ProRes 4444 for importing to FCP X without rendering.
With Final Mate for Mac, you can directly and easily convert and upload MTS videos to YouTube for sharing via your own Youtube account. What's more, the latest version of Final Mate for Mac has added 3D effects and 3D settings for all profiles, so users are free to add 3D effects to the converted files regardless of the file formats.
If you want to share the footages with your friends, Final Mate will help you upload the video to YouTube directly and automatically after the conversion to the proper formats, MP4 or WebM. It will record your YouTube account in the preference as it's required in YouTube uploade.
