DoubleSafety
DoubleSafety is a program for automatic data backup. With an effortless interface, you will not have to spend a lot of time on configuring the program in order to ensure the safety of your data.Of course, the program has a built-in scheduler. It is absolutely necessary for you to be free from all worries concerning backups. You have more important things to do. Indeed, no one wants to come back after leaving the office just because they forgot to back up your data or worry that somebody may accidentally delete important data, right?
You can also back up data to a CD/DVD or Blu-Ray/HD-DVD and it will be done in a fully automatic mode. Just leave the media in the drive for the night and the program will automatically compress data, write it to the disk and verify the archive. All you will have to do in the morning will be to eject the disk and put it away on the shelf - now you will be able to restore the information even if your hard drive breaks down.
It is also possible to back up data to a remote FTP server. Even if a fire or something else happens in the office, your data remains safe.
You can also automatically encrypt data using the 256-bit AES algorithm, the world encryption standard. This ensures that nobody except you will be able to access confidential information.
Backup programs often have a problem copying files that are locked by applications that require an exclusive access. DoubleSafety solves this problem by using the Volume Shadow Copy Service, a modern technology from Microsoft.
