MidPoint 5-User Edition
Allows you to make your Internet access faster, more secure, shareable, and more reliable. The program includes an application-level proxy server, a SOCKS server, Network Address Translation (NAT) support, and sharing capabilities. If you already use an Internet-sharing device, such as a router, MidPoint can be easily configured to use it. It features an e-mail server with management capabilities and the ability to set up an unlimited number of mailboxes, which can all be serviced via a single domain mailbox registered with your ISP. MidPoint's archiving feature keeps a copy of all incoming and outgoing e-mail for tracking, auditing, and verification purposes, while the "spam"\; detection feature can detect unwanted messages and place them in a special "spam"\; mailbox. The built-in firewall protection keeps your network-connected computers invisible to the prying eyes of anyone on the Internet. The program also enables you to "open"\; specific TCP/IP ports for both inbound and outbound access, supporting any type of connection: analog modems, ISDN adapters, cable modems, xDSL connections, routers, and satellite connections.
